Mr. Jewell Ray Vaughn, age 91, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 at Willow Branch Health & Rehabilitation. He was born on September 30, 1933 in McMinnville, TN, was retired from Ben Lomand, was a member of Gath Baptist Church, and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents Elijah and Effie Cope Vaughn, mother of his children Pamela Wallace Vaughn, son Timothy Wallace Vaughn, step son Chris Rice, brother Beecher Vaughn, and sister Louise Hendrixson.

Jewell is survived by his wife of 39 years Nancy Vaughn, daughter Michelle (Frank) Southard, step-son Todd Rice (Brigette – deceased), grandchildren Alyssa Masters and Bronson Rice, and great-grandchildren Parker Masters and Lynnleigh Masters.

Funeral services were conducted January 03, 2025, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Ray Gilder officiated. Interment followed at Highland Cemetery in Sparta, TN.
