Mr. Jimmy Douglas Dodd age 78 of McMinnville, TN, died Wednesday, March 09, 2022, at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN. He was born August 05, 1943, in McMinnville, TN, formerly owned Jimmy's Produce & Nursery stand in Newtown, and was of the Baptist faith. Jimmy was preceded in death by daughter Tammy Kay Dodd, granddaughter Frankie Nicole Dodd, parents Jewel and Mary Delma Wright Dodd, and sisters Clarene Bounds, Mildred Jones, Iona Williamson, and Betty Neely.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years Margie Dodd, son and daughter-in-law Jimmy and Linda Dodd, daughter Melissa Nunley and Buck McClure, grandchildren Lyndi (Hunter) Pack, Jacob Dodd, Molly Dodd, Lacie Varner, and Kaytlen Nunley, great-grandchild Arabella Varner, sister Wilma Hillis, and close family friend Josie Cooper. Several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.

Funeral services were conducted March 12, 2022, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Rodney King officiated. Interment followed at Charles Creek Cemetery.
