Mrs. Joan Fay Hale Jordan age 86 of McMinnville, TN, (Centertown Community) passed Monday, May 16, 2022, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She was born August 24, 1935 in McMinnville, TN, was a homemaker, previously was a substitute teacher, and was a member of Bates Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by parents Hurshel Schuyler and Mamie Ann Davenport Hale, brothers Clyde Hurshel Hale and Cecil Schuyler Hale, and sister Jean Cowan.

Joan is survived by her husband of 68 years Robert Louis Jordan, daughter and son-in-law Robin and Larry Underhill, brother Jerry (Sherry) Hale, brother-in-law Donald Cowan, grandchildren Jordan (Meagan) Underhill, Caleb (Bailey) Underhill, and Logan (Haley) Underhill, and great grandchildren Knox Underhill, Maddux Underhill, River Griffith, and Isla Underhill.

Funeral services were conducted May 20, 2022, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Robby Black officiated. Interment followed at Centertown Cemetery. Elders of the Bates Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church did serve as honorary pallbearers.
