Ms. Joan Ann Milstead, age 82, of McMinnville, TN, died Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN. She was born June 25, 1941, in Warren County, TN, was a homemaker, loved pretty clothes, cooking, gardening, and her dog "Chipper". Joan was a member of New Union United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by parents Creed Vinson and Cola June Cunningham Mayfield, grandparents George Washington "Wash" and Nettie "Lena" Mayfield, and daughter, Shannon Gail Panter Parrish.

Survivors include her daughters Shelia (Mike) Young, Carol (Barry) Roberts, and Tricia Milstead, grandchildren Chad (Tara) Young, Misty Forth, and Sarah (Micheal) Walters, and great-grandchildren Ashton, Jessie, Ali, Maggie Jo, Breanna, and Natalie.

Private family services will be conducted.
