Joe Edward Colyer was a devoted husband, loving father, caring brother, and proud family man whose love for those closest to him was clear in everything he did. He shared over 45 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife Mercelia Joyce Colyer, a bond built on love, loyalty, and devotion.

Joe had a passion for truck driving, loved cheering on the Vols football team, and treasured the time he spent with his family above all else. He loved his daughter, nephews, and grandchildren with all his heart, and brought warmth, strength, and love to their lives.

He will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his hardworking spirit, and the love he gave so freely. Joe's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Until we meet again, we all love you and miss you!
