Mr. John Wayne "Monk" Willard age 66 of McMinnville, TN, died Monday, July 18, 2022, at his residence. He was born February 20, 1956 in Athens, AL, was a roofer in the construction business, enjoyed fishing, spoiled all kids that crossed his path, and loved his dog Petey. Mr. Willard was preceded in death by his parents Will and Lela Williams Willard, brothers Curtis Willard and Chester Williams, sister Sarah Jane Stoner, nephew Jimmy Stoner, and great nephew Jimmy Weston Stoner.

Monk is survived by his brother Kenneth (Ann) Willard, special friends Kenneth Stoner, Jackie Stoner, and Steve and Linda Nunley, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted July 21, 2022, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Elder Ricky Arnold officiated. Interment followed at Bethany Cemetery.
