Mrs. Joy Elaine Pleines, age 73, of Morrison, TN passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford. She was born on November 26, 1951 in New York. She worked as a registered nurse and was a member Living Word Fellowship Church. She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her devoted husband Dante Robert Pleines, step-children Jocelyn (Serqiu) Basturescu and Jenna Pleines, and step-grandchildren Luca Basturescu and Liana Basturescu.

Mrs. Pleines is being cremated and no services are planned at this time.
