Mrs. Juanita Martin King, age 96, of McMinnville, TN, died Monday, February 19, 2024, at her residence. She was born May 15, 1927, in McMinnville, TN, was a self-employed farmer, was a member of the Church of God, and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. King was preceded in death by her parents Sam and Ella Millraney Martin, Sr., first husband Harold Edwin Templeton, second husband M.P. (Dick) King, sisters Willie Mae Martin, Edna Curtis, Jessie Ruth Gillentine, Gladys Walker, and Sarah Lorena Hillis, and brothers Woodrow and Harold Martin.

Survivors include her daughters Sammye Jo Templeton and Patsy Carol Templeton, granddaughter Shelly Powell, great-granddaughter Shyenne (Eran) Davis, sister Martha Martin, sister-in-law Claudia Martin, and brother Sam Martin, Jr. Many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends also survive.

Graveside services and interment were conducted February 23, 2024, at Mt. View Cemetery. Billy Solomon officiated.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Meals on Wheels or to the Humane Society.
