Mrs. June Merelene Sandlin age 68 of Rock Island, TN, died Friday, May 10, 2019, at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital. She was born February 03, 1951, in Oklahoma City, OK, was a registered nurse, and a member of First United Methodist Church where she was active in the Prayer Shawl Ministry. Mrs. Sandlin was preceded in death by her parents Junior Merel "Danny" and Mary Louise Howard Danhof.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years Odis Paul Sandlin, daughter Paula Stotts (Kelvin Powers), son Kevin (Kim) Sandlin, grandchildren Madalyn Stotts, Carly Stotts, Nikki Turner, Meagan Sandlin, and Madison Sandlin, great-grandchildren Dallas Turner and Kennedy Turner, brother Ronnie Danhof, and special cousins Edi (Rick) Tipton and Sharon (late L.G.) Cornish.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 15, 2019, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Tommy Vann will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. in the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
