Mrs. Kathleen Evans Steele age 66 of McMinnville, TN, died Thursday, August 08, 2019, at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. She was born June 15, 1953, in McMinnville, TN, was a homemaker and a member of Shellsford Baptist Church. Mrs. Steele was preceded in death by parents Donald Doise Arney and Anna Lee Cardwell Starkey, first husband Donald Evans, and sister Joyce Arney.

Survivors include her husband Jerry (Hawkeye) Steele, her children Karen Joanne Evans and Jeffrey Michael Evans and wife Dana, grandchildren Dylan and Carson Evans, and sister Sally Donalson and husband Tobby.

Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, August 11, 2019, at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Tim Lewis will officiate. Interment will follow at Shellsford Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again Sunday from 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
