Mr. Kenneth Maynard Grimes, age 93, of Morrison, TN (the Shady Grove community) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at his residence. He was born on October 17, 1932 in East Bernstadt, KY. He was of the Christian faith and an owner and operator in automotive sales. He served his country proudly in both the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force. He continued to serve his community as he was a 32nd degree Mason of the Morrison Lodge. He had a strong passion for gardening and a talent for farming.

Survivors include his wife Shirley Violet Rivers Grimes, son Scott (Lynda) Grimes, grandchildren Alex (Jessica) Grimes, Brandy Grimes, Desirae (Adam) Sanders-Pinkerton, and Mara-Logan Grimes, great grandchildren Everly Pinkerton and Ivan Pinkerton, and sisters Freda and Dorothy. He is preceded in death by his parents John Logan Grimes and Flora Ellen Lee Grimes, son Jerry Grimes, sister Iva Lee, and brothers James, John, and William.

A celebration of life service for Mr. Kenneth Grimes will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, April 18, 2026 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. A Masonic Ceremony will be conducted. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at McMinnville Funeral Home.
