Mr. Kenneth Shon McGowan, age 72, of McMinnville, TN, died Monday, September 01, 2025, at his residence. He was born December 13, 1952, in McMinnville, TN, was the former owner and operator of Ken's Mobile Homes, and was a self-made man who worked hard every day of his life and fought for his family. Mr. McGowan was preceded in death by his parents Lester Adam and Nellie Ruth Wade McGowan, sister Betty Jean Dixon, and brothers Paul McGowan and Jimmy McGowan.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years Vinita Alford McGowan, daughters Shonda (Speigal) Wanamaker and Susanna (Jason) Stanfill, sisters Dorothy Stembridge and Cynthia Martin, grandchildren Addison Rigsby, Tucker Wanamaker, Trevin Wanamaker, Shelby Wanamaker, Caleb Gault, Cole Stanfill, and Sidney (Jake) Cross, and great-grandchildren Braxleigh Rigsby, Dani Eady, Preston Wanamaker, Emery Stanfill, Arya Cross, and Sterling Cross.

Funeral service for Kenneth McGowan is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 04, 2025 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Eddie Joe Duke will officiate. Visitation with the McGowan Family will be held on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Wilson's Chapel Cemetery in Morrison, TN.
