Mr. Gordon Lane Coppinger, age 80, of McMinnville, TN passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025 at Ascension St. Thomas River Park Hospital. He was born on May 25, 1944 in McMinnville, TN, and was a retired quality tech at Century Electric after 38 ½ years. Mr. Coppinger was preceded in death by his parents Noah James Coppinger, and Callie Victory Griffith Coppinger and brothers Livey Coppinger, Glenn Coppinger, and Jimmy Coppinger.

Lane is survived by his son Jeff Coppinger, daughter Tammy Coppinger Barkes, sisters Lola May Todd, Jewelle Cooper, and Ann Dolly Coppinger, grandchildren Hunter Lane Coppinger and his wife Mackenzie Coppinger, Chad Coppinger, and Heather (Kendall) Buckner, great grandchildren Alice Buckner and Victoria Buckner, and pet dog Jasper who was part of the family.

The funeral service for Lane Coppinger is scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Saturday, May 17, 2025 at McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Elder Ricky Arnold will officiate. Interment will follow at Talbert Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again on Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. at McMinnville Funeral Home.
