Mr. Lannie O. Lance age 67 of McMinnville, TN, died Monday, November 29, 2021, at Ascension St. Thomas River Park Hospital. He was born July 24, 1954, in McMinnville, TN, was a self-employed contractor, a "jack of all trades", enjoyed tinkering with mechanic work, grew up with horses and was especially fond of Tennessee Walking Horses, and attended the church of Christ. Mr. Lance was preceded in death by his father James Vinson "J. V." Lance, sister Vickie Amman, and brother Ricky Lance.

Lannie is survived by his mother Pauline Prater Lance, son Michael V. Lance, daughter Retha (Clayton) Payne, brothers Roger Dale (Marie) Lance and Jeff (Monica) Miller, sister Wavel Jeanette, sister-in-law Carol N. Lance, niece Teresa (Mason) Lynch, grandchildren Michelle Lance, Damon Wilcher, Justin Wilcher, Layna Payne, Katlyn Payne, and Aaron Payne, 6 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted December 03, 2021, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Whitlock Cemetery.
