Mr. Larry N. York, Sr., age 70.

Born in Ramer, TN to W. E. York and Beth Milstead. He was a loving father, grandpa, and G-Paw. He attended Selmer High School in McNairy County. He was a small engine mechanic for over 40 years. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

He passed away unexpectedly in his home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his 3 children, son Michael R. Jordan of Middleton, TN, daughter Angela M. Adams (Dewayne) of Rock Island, TN, son Larry N. York, Jr. (Valerie) of Little Rock, Arkansas and their mother Julia A. York of Rock Island, TN, along with a sister Betty Sands of Phenix City, Alabama. He has 6 grandchildren Shelbie Jordan, Houston McCullar, Randi Hubbard, Taylor Grenier, Alex Adams, and Lynzi York, 3 great grandchildren Lily Grace Jordan, Whitley Jae Mayfield, and Jace Riley McCullar.

He was preceded in death by his father W.E. "Button" York, his grandmother Minnie Lee York, sisters Laura Davis, Nettie Whitten, and Cordria Lee York, and brother James E. York.

Per Larry's wishes, there will be a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at 4:00 P.M. The Celebration will be held at 620 Tomlinson Road, Pocahontas, Tennessee.
