Mrs. Lillie Dean Burgess age 82 of Morrison, TN, died Sunday, August 04, 2019, at N.H.C. Health Care in McMinnville, TN. She was born January 12, 1937, in Overton County, TN, was a homemaker, and a member of First Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic Faith. Mrs. Burgess was preceded in death by parents Victor Edgar and Vora Ermon Thompson Smith, granddaughter Emily Boyd, sisters Adell Reagan, Ava Maynard, and Ova Reagan, and brother J. R. Smith.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years Lonzo Manuel Burgess, children Terry Eugene (Debbie) Burgess, Teresa Burgess, Tanzie Swim, Tammy Boyd, and Tonya (Steve) Page, sisters Eva Vaughn and Tilda Lewis. 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 07, 2019 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Jason Nunley will officiate. Interment will follow at Bascom Cemetery. The Burgess Family will receive friends Tuesday 2:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. and again Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
