Mr. Louis Russell Raper, age 71, of Rock Island, TN, died Friday, September 27, 2024, at Select Specialty Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born July 21, 1953, in Warren County, TN, was a former employee of Carrier, was also a car salesman, and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Raper was preceded in death by parents Lonnie Russell and Ruby Leona Owens Raper, sister Treva Joyce Raper, and brother Lonnie Raper.

Survivors include his children Steven Lewis Raper Wright and wife Jennifer, Brandon and his wife Miranda Raper, Brittany Jernigan, and Blake Raper, grandchildren Abbie Mae Mullican Xander Lee and Dayton Jernigan, great-grandchildren Aurora Mae Miller and Anastasia Blair Howiser, sister Joy McBride, and brother Terry and wife Melinda Raper. Other family members and friends also survive.

A private memorial service with the family will be conducted at a later date.
