Mrs. Mary Lounette Judkins age 94 of McMinnville, TN, died Saturday, July 27, 2024, at N.H.C. HealthCare. Born on December 21, 1929, in Liberty, TN, Lounette was a member of Madison Street Baptist Church, played basketball for Liberty, was a retiree of Genesco Shoe, and a retired dietician with the Warren County Sheriff's Department where she was fondly known as "Mrs. J.". She was preceded in death by her parents Homer Hayes and Pauline Harvey Hayes, husband Edward Nelson Judkins, daughter Mary Beth Judkins, grandson Cory Judkins, and sisters Marie Knowles and Billie Foutch.

Surviving are her children Margaret Judkins (Caleb Pollick), Gary (Sheri) Judkins, Larry (Phyllis) Judkins, and Patsy (James) Black, brother James (Nettie) Hayes, sisters Joyce (Johnny) O'Connor, Wanda (Ted) Ray, and Sarah (Ronnie) Kent, grandchildren Clint Judkins, John Judkins, Carrie (Darron) Sherrell, Marcy (Brad) Bolding, Jeremy Godwin, Kylie Judkins, Hondo Pease, and Brandon Black, several great grandchildren, numerous great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted July 31, 2024, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Jackie Matheny, Harlan Simmons, and Bill Zechman officiated. Interment followed at Mt. View Cemetery.
