Mrs. Marcella Irene Simpson, 89 of McMinnville, TN, passed on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at N.H.C. HealthCare. She was born on May 09, 1934 in Wapakoneta, Ohio, was a homemaker, was of the Baptist faith, and loved her family ever so dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents Jason Jeremiah and Bertha Marie Myers Campbell, husband Melvin D. Simpson, brothers Walter and Roland, her granddaughter Jessica Lourens, daughter-in-law Sharon Simpson.

Survivors include her children Melvin Simpson, Jr., Pamela (James) Howell, Terry (Cindy) Simpson, Sandra (Steve) Wasik, and Angela (Daniel) Montgomery, sister Patricia Root, grandchildren Chad (Jessi) Simpson, Brittany (Thomas) Stevenson, Dustin Howell, Candace (Joe) Miller, Dalton Montgomery, Felicity Montgomery, Cody Montgomery, Chloe Montgomery, and Matthys Lourens, and 7 great grandchildren.

There is no public service planned at this time. She was cremated at McMinnville Crematory LLC and her cremated remains will be placed alongside her beloved husband at a future date.
