Mrs. Marie Walker Roberts age 89 of McMinnville, TN, died Monday, December 7, 2020 at her home.  She was born August 16, 1931, in Sparta, TN, worked at Woodbury Shirt Factory, Century Electric, Chicken Chef, and Stewart's Pharmacy, and was a member of the Earleyville Church of Christ for over 60 years. She was a kind and giving person, a great homemaker, who loved teaching Sunday School and taking care of people.  She also enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting and embroidery. Mrs. Roberts was preceded in death by her first husband Shirley Walker, second husband Joe Roberts, son Sammy Lee Walker, and brothers Paul Vaughn and Ben Vaughn.

Mrs. Roberts is survived by daughter Cathy Walker (Dave Smith), grandchildren Lindsey Walker (Dustin) Hillis and Cody (Emily) Smith, and great grandchildren Wyatt Hillis, Rylee Hillis, Harper Smith and Malcom Smith.

Mrs. Roberts is also survived by her stepchildren Jeanette Graham and Joe Lynn (Wanda) Roberts and their families and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services and interment were conducted at Bethany Cemetery. Garry Potter officiated. Social distancing and face masks were required.
