Mrs. Martha Roberts McCormick, age 88, of McMinnville, TN, died Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at her residence. She was born February 21, 1935, in McMinnville, TN, and loved to read, fish, and spend time with family and playing cards. Martha graduated from Central High School with the class of 1953 and retired from B & P Lamp Supply as a decorator. She was the daughter of the late Pope and Ruth Moffitt Roberts. She was married to Morris Edward McCormick in 1954 and he preceded her in death in 1988. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother William "Bill" Roberts, sister Sara Roberts Grissom, and brothers-in-law Edward Clark, Howard Grissom, and Walter "Bud" Grissom.

She is survived by her two daughters Janet (Terry) Rhea and Rhonda McCormick, one granddaughter Ashley Teralyn Rhea (Edwin), sisters Marjorie Roberts Clark and Jimmie Roberts Grissom, and honorary daughter Dorinda Watts. Several nieces, nephews, and family friends also survive.

Funeral services were conducted April 28, 2023, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Ronnie Powell officiated. Interment followed at Mt. View Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
