Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Jernigan age 77 previously of McMinnville, TN, died Friday, July 17, 2020, at Woodbury Health & Rehabilitation Center in Woodbury, TN. She was one day shy of her 78 birthday. Mary was born in Morrison, TN, on July 18, 1942, to the late Joe and Pearl Turner McClain. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by husband Jerry Donald Jernigan and two sons Jerry Daniel Jernigan and Gary (Woody) Jernigan. She was a member of McMinnville First Baptist Church.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Terry and Tanya Jernigan, sisters Joann Stuber, Janie Certain, Georgia McCorkle, and Mae Prater, and brothers James McClain and Ricky McClain. Several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.

Funeral services were conducted July 22, 2020. Bro. Tommy Dye officiated. Interment followed at Morrison Cemetery.
