Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Phillips, known by some as "Minnie", age 101, of McMinnville, TN, died Thursday, April 9, 2020, at Raintree Manor Nursing Center. She was born in DeKalb County, TN, on March 24, 1919, was a homemaker, lived in Eagle Lake, Florida for around 30 years with her husband, participated locally at Silver Sneakers, and was a member of First Baptist Church. Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Ethel DeLong Bain, first husband Lonnie Afonso Wilkerson, husband William "Bill" Edgar Phillips, brother James Fred Bain, and sisters Vera Mai Adcock, Lou Holt, and Lola Bain. Survivors include several nieces and nephews and many great nieces and great nephews.

A private graveside service and interment will be held for immediate family members. Bro. Jeff Owens will officiate. There will be no public visitation or service at the funeral home.
