Mrs. Mary Louise Adams Vandagriff, age 85, of McMinnville, TN, died Thursday, July 13, 2023, at N.H.C. Health Care of McMinnville. She was born January 22, 1938, in DeKalb County, TN, Mary was a child care provider with Tennessee Preparatory School and retired from Tennessee Department of Childrens Services in March 2000. She was preceded in death by parents T. B. and Dorothy Louise Carter Adams, her brother Brownie Adams, knew the Lord, was a member of WMU Ladies, and loved to go on trips with the senior group at Gath Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband Bobby Lee Vandagriff, sisters Phyllis (Beecher) Hendrix and Brenda Wiser, sister-in-law Willie Brown Adams, nieces and nephews Carla (Danny) Catignani, Wendy (Richard) Knowlton, Craig (Cheryl) Hendrix, Joy (Kevin) Duvall, Mark (Karen) Adams, Veronica (Johnny) Pack, Vickie (Randall) Duke, and Mike Adams.

Funeral services were conducted July 17, 2023, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Rick Stewart officiated. Interment followed at DeKalb Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Smithville, TN.
