Mr. Mike Cooper age 72 of McMinnville, TN, died Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Ascension St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.  He was born March 26, 1949, in Crossville, TN, was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, worked for Stericycle, enjoyed riding motorcycles and was an avid Harley Davidson fan. He was also a big UT football fan and absolutely loved kids and dogs.  He was preceded in death by his parents Homer and Jerry Cooper, sister Janet Cooper, and nephew Scott Wright.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years Shirley Neal Cooper, children Michael Cooper, Jody (Mark) Qualls, Cory (Tracie) Knowles, Kim Carter, and Latisha (Lee) Watson, sister Patricia Wright, grandchildren Brienna Qualls, Kendall Cooper, Jesse Wendig, Shelby Judkins, Sarah Knowles, Abi Terry, Brayden Watson, Lexi Watson, Emma Carter, Aiden Carter, Tyler Watson, Kolby Wright, Zach Qualls, and Macy Gifford, great grandchildren Connor Cooper, Dax Wendig, Alexis Qualls, Macon Lane, Gentry Judkins, and Autry Judkins, nephew Trevis Wright, and special nieces Angie Wright and Autumn Wright.

Graveside services and interment were conducted September 23, 2021, at Crossville City Cemetery. Military grave rites were conducted by the Veterans Honor Guard.
