Mr. Morris Huston Neal, age 88, of McMinnville, TN, (Lucky Community) died Thursday, December 25, 2025, at his residence. He was born November 24, 1937, in Warren County, TN, was a retired machinist with Powermatic, and a member of Short Mountain Church of God. Morris was a most kind-hearted man; he always had a song in his heart and a smile on his face. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing the guitar and mandolin, and was an excellent carpenter. He will be lovingly remembered as being a perfect husband and being a 'Grand Poppy'.

Survivors include his wife Shirley Neal, children Mike (Carol) Neal and Patricia (Dennis) Eggert, step-children Wanda (Jeff) Womack and Brent Jones, grandchildren Susan (Francois) Asiata, Jayme (Scott) Nalley, Dana, and Jared, great grandchildren Sunday, Jackson, Levi, Remington, and Kaitlyn. Mr. Neal was preceded in death by parents Ray Ambers and Mary Winnie Raymond Neal, first wife Ruth Neal, sister Mary Margaret Young, and brothers John Robert, Clayton Melvin, Billy Charles, and Ray Neal, Jr.

Funeral services are 1:00 P.M. Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Gath Baptist Church, 6967 Smithville Hwy., McMinnville, TN 37110. Don Rigsby, Wayne Hopkins, and Rachel Cantrell will officiate. Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday at Gath Baptist Church from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Gath Cemetery.
