Resident and native of Warren County, Nell Ruth Chisam passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020. She was born July 5, 1935. She was a daughter of the late Clessie and Bertie Mae Sanders Mullican. She was also preceded in death by 4 sisters, Novella Bounds, Francis Bell, Dorothy Powell, and Jane Gilbert, 2 brothers James Mullican and Earl Mullican, and a son, Richard Chisam. She is survived by husband, Royal M. Chisam. They were happily married for 68 years. Also survived by daughter, Phyllis G. Chisam (Manchester, TN), daughter and son-in-law Deborah and Derek Garcia (Hendersonville,TN), grandson, Devin and Faz Garcia (San Antonio,TX), and brother and sister-in-law Henry and Mildred Mullican (Sparta, TN).

Nell was a member of Westwood Church of Christ. She retired from Genesco Corporation after 33 years of service and later retired from Findlay Industries.

Graveside services and interment were conducted September 01, 2020 at Mt. View Cemetery. Richard O'Connor officiated. Social distancing and the usage of face masks is being requested due to COVID-19.
