Mrs. Mae Nell Morrison, age 93, of McMinnville, TN, died Monday, June 10, 2024, at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, TN. She was born September 30, 1930, in McMinnville, TN, was the owner of Morrison's Florist along with her husband Carl (they opened their business on October 11, 1968), and was a member of Doyle First Baptist Church. Mrs. Morrison was preceded in death by father Charles Isam Bounds, mother Anna Nancy Adcock Bounds, step mother Lyda Mae Bounds, husband of 70 years Carl Sutton Morrison who passed just 10 days earlier, granddaughter Chandey Rachelle Morrison, brothers Austin Bounds, Bob Bounds, Fletcher Bounds, and Malcolm Bounds, and sisters Ione Bounds and Mary Lynn Bounds Rigsby.

Survivors include her sons Carl Sutton Morrison, Jr. and Steve (Lea Anne) Morrison, grandchildren Sam (Bethany) Morrison, Bud (Amber) Morrison, and John (Leanne) Morrison, former daughter-in-law Debbie Morrison, and best friends Judy Coppinger and Pat Whitlock. Great-grandchildren and nieces, and nephews also survive.

Graveside services and interment were conducted June 14, 2024, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Bro. Tim Judd officiated.
