Obituary

Mrs. Nelle Kathryn Roller age 88 of McMinnville, TN, died Saturday, February 22, 2020, at her residence surrounded by family and friends. She was born on January 05, 1932, in Warren County, TN, was a homemaker, and a farmer's wife. "Granny Roller" as she was affectionately known, was a mom who made everyday things an adventure, was an excellent cook who fed everyone who walked through her door, loved gardening and flowers and was a master seamstress. Nelle served on the Warren County A & L Fair Board for 30+ years, the Soil Conservation Board for 10+ years, and a member of the F.C. E. at Vinson's Crossroads for 40+ years. She held season basketball tickets for the Warren County Pioneers, loved traveling with her best friend Sandra Griffith and was the glue that held the family together.

Mrs. Roller was preceded in death by her parents Shelah E. and Sophie Ethel Perry Tubb, husband Jesse Otis "Tode" Roller, brother and sister-in-law Edd and Stella Tubb, and grandson Jamie Roller. Survivors include her children J. Steve Roller, Janice "Jan" Roller Burns, Morris Roller, and Tommy (Venita) Roller, sister Geraldine Tubb Fish, grandchildren Brad (Kim) Parker, Christie (Josh) Gilispie, and Katie Roller, step granddaughter Jacquelyn Baker, great grandchildren Alex and Braley Parker, Keley Roller, and Ryder and Rawley Gilispie, and caregivers Judy Judkins and Ruby Mathis. Many family members and friends also survive.

Funeral service is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 24, 2020, at the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Nick Pelham will officiate. Interment will follow at Centertown Cemetery. The Roller family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again Monday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
