Nellie Sue Bottoms, age 76, of McMinnville, TN, died Friday, June 03, 2022 at her residence. She was born May 11, 1946 in McMinnville, was a member of Trousdale Church of Christ, and had previously worked at Stewart's Pharmacy, Goody's, and Kroger throughout the years. Nellie was gifted at making ceramics and pottery when she was younger, enjoyed reading, and loved visiting with her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents G.W. "Jack" Barnes and Annie Ruth Crouch Barnes and her brother Billy Barnes.

Survivors include her children Jeff (Dorothy) Bottoms, Jenny (Chad) Ballard, and Kevin (Emily) Bottoms, sister Dianne Roberts, brother Jerry (Christy) Barnes, grandchildren Sheanna Bottoms, Rebecca Bottoms, Sophia Bottoms, Maggie Bottoms, Hallie Bottoms, Joshua (Caitlin) Ballard, Kasey Ballard, and Braden Bottoms, and great grandchild Zaleigh Bray.

Funeral services were conducted June 06, 2022, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Jackie Matheny officiated. Interment followed at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
