Mrs. Nellie Marie King, age 89, of McMinnville, TN passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Ascension St. Thomas Riverpark. She was born on February 01, 1936 in Coalmont, TN. For a short period of her life, she worked in the Shirt Factory in Altamont, but she was a homemaker at heart. She enjoyed puzzles, quilting, and yardwork. Her flowers brought her joy, especially roses, peonies, and her surprise lilies. She is preceded in death by her parents Rubin Fults and Velma Fults, her dear husband Arlin Ernest King, and all but one of her siblings.

Survivors include her son Herschel (Teresa) King, brother Rubin (Gloria Jeans) Fults, Jr., grandchildren Travis King and Joshua (Misty) King, great grandchildren Ava King, Taiah (Tyler) Johnston, and Lydia King, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service for Mrs. Nellie King is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 15, 2025 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Tom Fittis will officiate. Interment will follow at King Cemetery in Grundy County. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M.
