Mrs. Patricia Diane Poss, age 79 of McMinnville, TN, died Thursday, August 22, 2024, at her home with her family at her side.  She was born May 02, 1945, in McMinnville, TN, was a homemaker, and member of Newtown The Baptist Church of Christ. She was an excellent cook and was well-known for her baking. She was a wonderful caretaker of her grandkids and kept each one of them up until they went to kindergarten giving them all one on one time to treasure. Diane was a singer and song writer, always kept herself well put together, was not afraid of hard work, and was considered to be quite funny.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years Harold Poss, sons Jammie Harold (Donna) Poss and Kerry Lynn (Holly) Poss, grandchildren Corey Poss, Kayla Ladd, Keri Lynn Woodson, and Madison Morris, and great grandchildren Elijah Seivers, Marceline Poss, and Ezekiel Morris. Mrs. Poss was preceded in death by her mother Pelina Jones Marsh, sisters Dottie West, Nell Estes, Barbara Davis, Edith Copley, and Betty Redmon, and brother Ozie Marsh, Owen Marsh, Kelton Marsh, and Everette Marsh.

Funeral services were conducted August 24, 2024, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Darrell Cantrell and Cody Holman officiated. Interment followed at Newtown Memorial Gardens.
