Mr. Paul P. Dixson, age 91 of McMinnville, TN, died Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at The Waters of Smyrna. He was born May 05, 1928, in Warren County, TN, was a retired educator with the Warren County School System, served his country with the U.S. Army during the Korean War, and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Dixson was preceded in death by parents William T. and Hassie Stella Campbell Dixson, Sr., daughter Lois Annette Dixson Vandagriff, sisters Stella Hassie Dixson and Edith Dixson Fentress, and brothers John A. Dixson, William T. Dixson, Jr., and James H. Dixson.

Survivors include his wife Ada Lois Brown Dixson, daughter and son-in-law Paula (Mark) Hammel, grandsons Ben Hammel and Ross Hammel (Trish Higgins), great grandchildren Brylee Hammel and Blayze Hammel, and a sister Nola Alvarado. Several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends also survive.

No immediate services are planned at this time. Inurnment will follow at a later date in Mt. View Cemetery.
