Mr. Paul Howard Rigsby, age 81, of Smithville, TN passed away on Sunday, April 05, 2026 at his residence. He was born on June 13, 1944 in McMinnville, TN to parents William Howard Rigsby and Ocie Helen Newby Rigsby. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was retired from Walter A. Wood as a delivery driver. He served proudly in the U.S. Army. He was the kind of man who could do just about anything; he was a barber, a school bus driver, a farmer, and a nursery man. He loved being outdoors with his fruits and vegetables in his garden. Paul could play several instruments but his favorite was the Dobro. He was willing to give anything, always with a smile on his face.

Survivors include his special friends Sue Clark, Roger Shelton, Angie Dunkerson, and many more friends and acquaintances. He is preceded in death by his parents William Howard Rigsby and Ocie Helen Newby Rigsby and his sister Joyce Green.

Funeral service for Mr. Paul Rigsby is scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 08, 2026 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. David Bratcher will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery at Green Hill in Smithville, TN. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 2:00 P.M. in parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
