Mr. Paul Wakeley age 88 of McMinnville, TN, died Sunday, November 10, 2019. He was born April 02, 1931, in Canton, Ohio, retired as a roll grinder with Timken Steel Corporation, was a member of North Hills Church of God of Prophecy, and volunteered with the local Meals on Wheels Program. Mr. Wakeley was preceded in death by his parents Dorsey and Lela Britton Wakeley, first wife Mildred Register Wakeley, sisters Freda Calhoun, Beulah Abil, Dorothy Frederick, Darlene Bell, Lavina Wakeley, Evalina Reynolds, and Mary Hall, and brothers Dorsey Wakeley and Ernest Wakeley.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years Lela Fay Barlow Wakeley of McMinnville, special daughters Diana Ross, Carol Jessup, Bonnie Toth, and Sharon Hale, sister Maxine Huhn, and brother Mark Wakeley. Many nieces, nephews, and family friends also survive.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 13, 2019, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Michael Harris will officiate. Interment will follow at Over On The Hill Cemetery in Campaign. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
