Paula Ann (McMahan) Russell, age 60, of McMinnville, TN passed away on Saturday, October 03, 2026 at Tri-Star Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN. She was born on December 27, 1965 in McMinnville, TN. Paula was a dedicated and devoted LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) and worked at several nursing homes during her career retiring from Woodbury Nursing Home. She loved her dogs – Bailey, Riley, and Snickers! She was active in her nephews’ lives going to their ball games and supporting them all she could and in her niece’s life going to her recitals and events. She adored shopping and hanging out with her niece and nephews.

Survivors include her father Paul Houston McMahan, sister Lori (Jordan) Boyd, niece Clair Boyd, nephews Samuel Boyd, Silas Boyd, Isaiah Boyd, and Ezra Boyd, special friends Mike, Amy and Jenny Vaughn, life long friend since high school Tim King, and her best friend Karen Durham. She is preceded in death by her mother Doris McMahan, maternal grandparents Bernard and Elizabeth Cummings, paternal grandparents Pauline McAfee McMahan, Woodrow Houston McMahan and Grace McMahan.

Funeral service for Paula McMahan Russell is scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 08, 2026, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Mike Palk will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation with the McMahan-Russell family will be held on Wednesday from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again on Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at McMinnville Funeral Home.
