Mr. Rayburn Earnest Paris age 80 of McMinnville, TN, died Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Ascension St. Thomas River Park Hospital of cancer. He was born March 07, 1941, in McMinnville, TN, was a veteran serving his country with the U.S. Marines, a self-employed electrician and owner of Paris Electric, and a member of Turning Point United Pentecostal Church. He was preceded in death by his parents J. P. and Elsie Adcock Paris.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years Jean Anne Paris, children Regon (Teresa) Paris, Darlene (Emmett) Woodard, and Wendy (Joshua) Byrom, brother Allan Paris, grandchildren Cassandra (Brandon) Eckel, Christopher (Julia) Paris, Matthew (Allison) Woodard, Michael Woodard, Daniel Woodard, Devin Duer, Tara Schmidt, and Victoria Byrom, and great grandchildren Trinity Eckel, Joshua Eckel, Olivia Eckel, Abigail Eckel, Anna Paris, Charlotte Paris, Greyson Woodard, Paisley Woodard, and Elowyn Woodard.
Funeral services were conducted October 03, 2021, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Aaron Martin and Bishop Wayne Hopkins officiated. Interment followed at Mt. View Cemetery. Military grave rites were conducted by American Legion Post 173 and V.F.W. Post 5064.
