Rebecca Lynn Measles Lawson, 54, of McMinnville, TN, transitioned to her heavenly home on Sunday, September 03, 2023. She was born in Sparta, TN, on October 12, 1968, to Jimmy Ralph Measles and the late Shirley Faye Dodson Sapp. Becky loved spending time with her family and close friends and enjoyed working along side her late husband Daniel in all of their many endeavors, from operating a nursery, to creating beautiful homes, to doing ministry in the church through worship music. They were side by side for over 20 years. She was always up for an adventure. Her grandchildren loved being with her because they knew nothing but fun awaited them. There wasn't much she couldn't do. Any task put in front of her she conquered. She was an extremely strong woman. A wonderful example of work ethic, wisdom and a Psalms 31 woman. Her walk with Jesus was seen by everyone she met.

She is preceded in death by her husband Daniel Lawson and her mother Shirley Faye Dodson Sapp. Survivors include her father Jimmy Ralph Measles, daughters Mindy (Derek) Stone and Sabrina (Rich) Pekarz, sister Tina (David) Sims, brother Clifford Measles, and grandchildren Brianna Stone, Lain Stone, Karly Pekarz, and Roman Pekarz.

Funeral services were conducted September 07, 2023, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Lindell Cooley officiated. Interment followed at Philadelphia Cemetery.
