Richard Dennis (Ricky) Cope age 67 of Rock Island, TN, died Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at his residence. He was preceded in death by parents Donald and Oletta Hale Cope, sisters Joy Carol Swindell and Sandra Patricia Cope, brother Randall Cope, and his companion's sons David and Edward Gilley. Ricky formerly worked as a construction worker building bridges and was a native of Van Buren County.

Survivors include his companion of 25 years Mildred (Millie) Couch, her children Diana (Robert) Verble, Steven Gilley, and Gary Gilley, sister Phyllis Austin, and brothers Butch (Beulah) Cope, Terry (Lisa) Cope, and Jimmy Ray (Sharon) Cope. Other family members and friends also survive.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
