Rickey Alton Hildreth, age 65, of McMinnville, TN, died on December 13, 2022, in Nashville, TN, following a sudden illness.

Rickey was the son of the late James Alton and Nan Flanders Hildreth of Smithville, TN. A graduate of Warren County Senior High School, Rickey was married to the love of his life, Gwendolyn Brown Hildreth in May of 1976, and went on to have three children, Lesley (Jonathan) Neale, Abby (Daniel) Onkst, and Eric (Laura) Hildreth, and four grandchildren Max and Nora Onkst and Warren and Amelia Hildreth.

A self-employed nurseryman and member of Hwy 56 N. Church of Christ, Ricky loved the Lord, his family, and his work. Known affectionately as "Papa," Ricky was a loving Christian husband, father, and grandfather. Rickey is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, brothers Garry Hildreth and Danny Hildreth of Smithville, TN, several nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Rickey will be cremated per his request, and no funeral service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Warren County Family Resource Center, 200 Caldwell Street, McMinnville, TN  37110, or to Potter Children's Home and Family Ministries, 2350 Nashville Road, Bowling Green, KY  42101.
