Ms. Rita Marie McGarey age 84 of McMinnville TN died Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Ascension St. Thomas River Park Hospital in McMinnville, TN. She was born September 23, 1938, in Petoskey, MI, to her late parents Alywn Jesse and Mable Edna Stanley Hall and was a member of People of the Living God Church.

Survivors include her children Tom (Lynda) Harris, Dawn (Tim) Derenzy, John (Nadine) Harris, Andy (Deborah) Harris, Nancy (Ed) Daniels, Dana (Yon Hui) Langworthy, and Wanda (Keith) Sirmons, and sisters Roberta Bowman and Annetta Zink. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

Memorial services were conducted March 05, 2023, at People of the Living God Church. Bro. Al King officiated. Inurnment followed at Homeland Acres Cemetery in Grundy County, TN.
