Mr. Robert Allen Woods age 86 of McMinnville, TN, died Friday August 28, 2020 at NHC HealthCare in McMinnville, TN. He was born October 23, 1933, in Warren County, TN, was a retired truck driver, farmer, and owner of R. Allen Woods Nursery. Allen grew up in the Liberty Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was of the Christian faith, enjoyed quarter horses, mules, and traveling in wagon trains. Mr. Woods was preceded in death by his parents Tom Robert "T. R." and Martha Amelia Blanks Woods, sisters Evelyn Marie Woods and Catherine Louise Johnson, and son-in-law Bobby R. Farless.

Allen is survived by his children Starr Farless, Dale (Denise) Woods, Melody Woods, and Tommy Woods, brother Richard (Linda) Woods, ex-wife Arminta Carter Woods, grandchildren Jimmy (Alicia) Farless, Kimberly Farless (Daniel) Snyder, Ted Robert "T. R." Woods (Simone O'Dell), Amelia (Lowell) Miller, and Ellen (Mat) Pilcher, and great grandchildren Amos Snyder, Carter Snyder, Isaiah Snyder, Laura Mae Snyder, and James Cody Farless. Several other family members and family friends also survive.

Graveside services and interment were conducted August 30, 2020 at Gardens of Memory Cemetery. Dale Woods, Jimmy Farless, and Daniel Snyder officiated.
