Mr. Roger Maxwell Vickers, age 60, of McMinnville, TN, died Saturday, April 11, 2020, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was born in Warren County, on October 19, 1959, was a mechanic with McMinnville Lawn & Garden, of the Church of Christ faith, enjoyed gardening, and loved cooking for people. Mr. Vickers was preceded in death by his parents James Marshall and Mabel Tanner Vickers, brother Paul David Vickers, and nephew Colby Spencer.

Survivors include his brothers James Franklin Vickers of Florida and Tommy Eugene Vickers-Davis and wife June of Chattanooga, sisters Vicky Ann Honeycutt and Betty Ann Vandagriff, nieces and nephews Christy Vickers, Misty Vickers, J. J. Vickers, Christopher Vickers, Sumer Vandagriff, Jeffrey Boyd Vandagriff, Jr., Brian Spencer, Brittani Snider, Brandon Honeycutt, Robert Linticums, Steven Davis, and Kevin Davis, several great nieces and great nephews. Scotty Keel and his crew at McMinnville Lawn & Garden were like a second family to Roger.

A private graveside service and interment will be held for immediate family members. Rev. Jeff Vandagriff will officiate. There will be no public visitation or service at the funeral home. Due to COVID-19 health considerations, a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
