With a smile on her face, Rose Frances Cunningham Mahar went home to be with Jesus on October 13, 2026. Rose was born on January 24, 1927, to Jess and Dixie Cunningham. Rose married Paul Mahar and they had three beautiful children together – Paul Bruce, Sherry Lynn, and Pamela Jo. Later in life, Rose was married to Wilbert Padgett until he passed. Until she took her final breath, Rose was lovingly cared for by her grandson, Jake.

Rose is survived by her children Paul Bruce Mahar, Sherry Mahar, grandchildren Paul & Michael Mahar, Patrice Yeiser, Joseph Stacey, Joshua Stacey, and John Jacob Berggren, and her great-grandchildren. Rose is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Pamela, and granddaughter Carmen, whom she has now been reunited with in Heaven.

Funeral services for Rose are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 16, 2026 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Michael Harris will officiate. Interment will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 2:00 P.M. at McMinnville Funeral Home.
