Mrs. Shirley Ann Stout, age 84, of McMinnville, TN passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at her home. She was born on May 04, 1940 in Gainesboro, TN, was a member of Northside Baptist Church, and was a beloved wife, mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Shirley loved first and foremost her family and she also enjoyed cooking, playing tennis, reading, and doing crossword puzzles. She was happiest in the home as a true homemaker and was someone who truly enjoyed people. She had a wonderful sense of humor and delighted in making everyone feel special.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 65 years Hollis Stout, children Lisa (Dale) Davis, Mark Stout, and Tara (Chuck) Gilbert, grandchildren Alec (Josie) Davis, Weston (Nancy) Davis, Faithe Stout, Rebecca (Chase) Arnett, Joshua Stout, Matthew (Ansley) Stout, Micah Stout, Daniel Stout, Sarah Stout, Laura (Keithen) Harris, and Carrie Gilbert, and great grandchildren Kohen Davis, Lucah Davis, David Arnett, Hannah Arnett, and Camden Harris. Mrs. Stout was preceded in death by her parents Captain Dehull Wilson and Myrtle Isabel Cherry Wilson, brothers Harold Wilson and Jimmy Wilson, and sisters Mary Williford and Judy Hayko.

Funeral services were conducted March 02, 2025, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. David Wheeler and Rev. Jason Whitmire officiated. Interment followed at Mt. View Cemetery.
