Stacey Jane Bonner, 48

Stacey Bonner stepped from this life into a more beautiful life on October 14, 2020. She was born on November 15, 1971 in South Bend, Indiana. Stacey had a huge heart and sought God through a lifetime of serving others. During her career as a paramedic she had the opportunity to save countless lives. She rescued animals and adored her little dogs, Rudy and Charlie. Stacey also rescued people. To every person that needed a helping hand, she was there to help. She took a special interest in helping the homeless.  She enjoyed hiking, camping, and kayaking.  Those who knew Stacey absolutely know that she loved Notre Dame football. She never missed an opportunity to tell you that she was born in South Bend, Indiana. As a Christian, Stacey enjoyed going on retreats, attending the Cowboy church, praying, and reading scripture. She enjoyed her friends, loved children, and dearly loved her family. Stacey was a giving person even in death. She was an organ donor and donated her remains to the University of Tennessee Forensic Anthropology Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Survivors include her parents, Bob and Melba Bonner of McMinnville; sister Paula (Keith) Prater of Centertown; beloved niece Cassidy Prater of Nashville, Tennessee; beloved nephew Lucas Prater of Centertown; maternal grandmother Pauline Wilson of Centre, Alabama; paternal grandmother Carolyn (John) Deckard of White Pigeon, Michigan; aunts and uncles, Jane (Mike) Cunningham of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Dan (Teresa) Wilson of Gadsden, Alabama, Scott (Nancy) Bonner of Niles, Michigan; special uncle and aunt Joe and Linda Bost; cousins Amy Cunningham, Ray Cunningham, Jason Bonner, Andrew Bonner, Jessica Matheson, Amber Gillikin; special cousin Allison Bost Killian; and many special friends. She was preceded in death by grandfathers B.F Wilson and Bobbie F. Bonner; cousin Britney Waycaster; and special friend Charlotte Buss.

There will be no visitation at this time due to COVID-19. A drive-by memorial service for Stacey Bonner was conducted October 24, 2020.
