Mr. Steven George Tilton age 67 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Sunday, September 20, 2020, at his home. He was born November 04, 1952 in Fort Polk, Louisiana, grew up in Tecumseh, Michigan, and worked and lived in McMinnville for 20 years before moving to Murfreesboro. He was a Christian, enjoyed riding his Harley, and loved watching his sons and grandkids play sports. Mr. Tilton was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Lois Tilton, brothers Tom Tilton and Dan Tilton, and daughter Amber Nicole Tilton.

Steve is survived by his wife of 27 years Gena Gillette Tilton of Murfreesboro, sons Steven (Adrienne) Tilton of Takoma Park, Maryland, Kaleb (Sarada) Tilton of Memphis, TN, and Nicholas Tilton of Murfreesboro, grandchildren Noah, Sophie, Alex, Dorothy, Mason and Tucker Tilton, brother Mike Tilton, special nephew who was like a son Terry (Jonie) Tilton, and special sister-in-law Paula Patteuw. Many nieces, nephews, and family friends also survive.

Graveside memorial services and inurnment were conducted October 10, 2020, at Mt. View Cemetery.
