Ms. Susan Cross Maxwell, age 80, of McMinnville, TN passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026 at NHC HealthCare. She was born on November 02, 1945 in Cookeville, TN and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her work as an office manager for Jewell M. Hale construction. She loved the Lord, loved to laugh, and loved to laugh at herself.

She is survived by her son Jason (Tara) Hinds and grandson Oakley Eugene Russell Hinds. She is also survived by several family friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Melvin Eugene Maxwell and Virginia Cross Maxwell.

Ms. Maxwell will be cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.
