Ms. Tammy Gail Boyd, age 58, of McMinnville, TN passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Ascension St. Thomas River Park Hospital. She was born on May 03, 1968 in Bluffton, IN. She worked as a cashier at Warehouse Discount Groceries, always greeting her customers with a heartwarming smile. Tammy was a member of the First Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic Faith and was blessed with a loving family. She cherished the time spent with her daughter and sisters. She looked forward to game nights with her family and friends and taking trips with her sisters to Gatlinburg and Florida.

She is survived by her loving daughter Emma Grace Boyd, sisters Teresa Sue Burgess, Tanzie Mae Swim, and Tonya Delores (Steve) Page, and brother Terry Eugene (Debbie) Burgess. A host of nieces and nephews who she adored also survive. She is preceded in death by her parents Lonzo Manuel Burgess and Lillie Dean Smith Burgess, and infant daughter Emily Jade Boyd.

Funeral services for Tammy are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Thursday, August 27, 2026 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Jason Nunley will officiate. Interment will follow at Shellsford Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and again on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 3:00 P.M. in the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
