Mr. Terry Lebron "Bud" Minton, Jr., age 57, of Smithville, TN passed away on Friday, November 07, 2025. He was born on March 01, 1968, was a truck driver for Charles Bailey Trucking for many years, and was a member of Sink Creek Missionary Baptist Church.  He is preceded in death by his father Terry Lebron Minton, Sr.

Survivors include his wife Betty Nelson Minton, mother Vella Sue (Ron) Dolberry, sons Terry DeWayne (Briana) Minton and Ronald Lee (Jennifer) Minton, brothers Raymond (Brenda) Minton and Ronnie Dale Minton, grandchildren Haydon, Deshawn, Ryleigha, Bailey, Kataya, Kori, Trinity, Kasie, and Jenly, father-in-law James Nelson, sisters-in-law Kay (Junior) Johnson and Nichole Nelson, special niece Michelle Hernandez, special friend David Belew, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.

Funeral service for Bud Minton is scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 12, 2025 in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Richie Woodlee will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel.
